Level 0
Biometric signing and encryption is handled at the host OS/software level. Private keys must be carefully managed to prevent unauthorised access.
Provides basic security and is suitable for many enterprise applications. Easier to deploy, but requires careful key management.
Level 1
Biometric signing and encryption occurs within the Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). Host OS users or processes cannot access keys or inject biometrics.
Highest level of security. Ideal for high-risk or regulatory environments, ensuring complete data integrity and fraud prevention.
